


A Bit About Me
I am a character modeler who specializes in real-time characters with an attitude. My characters embody strength and confidence but with a touch of whimsy. A lot of inspiration I pull into my work is from my love of makeup and fashion. There's empowerment from self expression. A person’s choice in their outward appearance, their unique style or lack thereof, can say everything about who they are, who they want to be, and how they’ve got there. It has personally been an ever-evolving journey within myself and it is something that I make a point in reflecting onto the characters I create.
With a background in studio arts from California State University, Long Beach, I have developed a profound love for traditional paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Studying these pieces has provided such a beautiful insight to a variety of cultural traditions, history, and understanding of people. I have gained such an appreciation and love for art history. The desire and curiosity to learn more is something that still motivates and excites me when researching and developing for a project.
Even though I enjoy creating in traditional mediums, I have always desired a career in the digital arts. Through many transitions of what that career would look like, in my last semester of college I took the only 3D course offered at Long Beach State, and it clicked. From that moment, a fire was lit underneath me, an eagerness and excitement to learn. This journey has led to me finding the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games, and Animation. What started as attending many individual courses had turned into getting accepted into the coveted Digital Production program. What was a daunting decision to go back to school has turned into a space that has encouraged me to push my adaptability, self-motivation, and teamwork abilities while providing me the knowledge and creative freedom to blossom into the artist I am today.
